Best Time Of The Year!!!!

Christmas is my favorite time of year. For most folks its family time, which could be a good or bad thing. Growing up Thanksgiving and Christmas was the most important family holidays for my Grandma. I never understood why she would get so choked and emotional while saying grace. Now that I'm older I fully understand, for her It wasn't about getting presents or having great food on the table, it was simply about family. Having all of her grandchildren and children together in one place at the same time. The importance of family is what we need to focus on this holiday, whether you have present, food, all your loved one with or not. Even if majority of them get on your nerves :-) we still most focus on family because at the end of the day they are still a big part of our identity. who we our and what we do and what we don't do comes from family. Family is not made up of just blood relatives some are made up of friends and for some people pets. but God gave them to us (just like He gave us His Son) to love and cherish and to teach and share the love He gives us. So this holiday share love, don't get upset if you don't get "stuff" , its not your birthday any way, be happy you can share love.~Donnisha (oh yeah, that is a picture of me in Crackle Barrel in Mississippi.
